The growth, development, and learned behaviors that occur during the first year of infancy have

The growth, development, and learned behaviors that occur during the first year of infancy have a direct effect on the individual throughout a lifetime. For this assignment, research an environmental factor that poses a threat to the health or safety of infants and develop a health promotion that can be presented to parents and caregivers. Create a 10-12-slide PowerPoint health promotion, with speaker notes, that outlines a teaching plan. For the presentation of your PowerPoint, use Loom to create a voice over or a video. Include an additional slide for the Loom link at the beginning, and an additional slide for references at the end. In developing your PowerPoint, take into consideration the health care literacy level of your target audience, as well as the demographic of the caregiver/patient (socioeconomic level, language, culture, and any other relevant characteristic of the caregiver) for which the presentation is tailored. Include the following in your presentation: Describe the selected environmental factor. Explain how the environmental factor you selected can potentially affect the health or safety of infants. Create a health promotion plan that can be presented to parents and caregivers to address the environmental factor and improve the overall health and well-being of infants. Offer recommendations on accident prevention and safety promotion as they relate to the selected environmental factor and the health or safety of infants. Offer examples, interventions, and suggestions from evidence-based research. At least three scholarly sources are required. Two of the three sources must be peer-reviewed and no more than 5 years old. Provide readers with four resources:  two community resources, one national resource, and one web-based resource. Include a brief description and contact information for each resource. You are required to cite a minimum of three peer-reviewed sources to complete this assignment. Sources must be published within the last 5 years, appropriate for the assignment criteria, and relevant to nursing practice.  Refer to the resource, ‘Creating Effective PowerPoint Presentations,’ located in the Student Success Center, for additional guidance on completing this assignment in the appropriate style. Refer to the resource, ‘Loom,’ located in the Student Success Center, for additional guidance on recording your presentation. While APA style is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and documentation of sources should be presented using APA formatting guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion. Respond to the Classmate’s Discussion (below) as you would in a face-to face class by asking questions and stating your point of view. I’m surprised in chapter 9 when it talked about childhood obesity that it didn’t mention the emotional toll it can take on children as well, particularly from bullying in school (Erford, 2017). There was mention of bullying about the kid with cancer, which was horrible, but I’m just surprised it didn’t say anything about potential bullying for obesity as well. Children can be… such jerks and so relentless. I did, however, appreciate the part where it talked about the kid with cancer and the effects of him being bullied. He was made fun of for being bald and weak from chemo, which, again, is horrible and horrifying, but then he ended up becoming a bully himself because of the anger he experienced with his bullying. I don’t condone bullying by any means, but I know there are a myriad of reasons a person can become one and often it’s a cry for help.  The pruning process the chapter talked about was really interesting to read about and made me wish my brain would go through a pruning process again to get rid of all the old phone numbers I don’t want to remember from 8-years-old to make room for important information, ha. It’s interesting getting older and realizing that your ability to engage in cognitive abilities aren’t quite as you remember them being from when you were a kid. I used to be sharp and now I feel like it takes me so much longer to learn something. It makes me wish I had done more as a kid or kept up with certain activities. The part about trauma affecting the brain was also really interesting. I would definitely be more interested in learning more about how trauma and neglect can alter the normal process of brain development for children. I’ve read that trauma can cause symptoms in children that are often mistaken as other issues like ADHD and that it can often be difficult to diagnose a child correctly, which makes me sad for all the children who have been forced to take medication for alleged ADHD when they were experiencing traumatic situations at home. I’ve also read about the effects trauma and stress have on the amygdala and pre-frontal cortex, but it would be really fascinating to take a class or find a lecture on the connections between all the parts of the brain!

Q1 . Reply  During the get-started exercise, I learned a lot. One of the main things that I learned was that it is very important to read over and have a copy of the capstone courier handy.  I feel that it is important to look at departments individually but then as a whole as well to make sure one department doesn’t take down another department. Overall, I am excited to see how everyone does as a team to make our business grow over the next several weeks.  Q.2 reply  There are many things to pay attention to. For instance, in R & D, you must open the courier report and the condition report for Captone Courier in order to know if you need to adjust based on the given value in each item’s performance and size values for the Traditional, Low End, High End, Performance, and Size segments. Also, you must be aware of your competitors’ MTBF (Mean Time Before Failure) and force yourself to select the largest amount possible in light of the circumstances. Another thing I noticed is that the data displays the segment center at the conclusion of each round. For instance, each round’s position can be observed in the next round starting position. And certainly, the CAPSIM is quite challenging; you must always pay attention to every detail and closely monitor the advancement of your rivals.

Question A:It is important for hospital administrators to regard outpatient care as a key

Question A:  It is important for hospital administrators to regard outpatient care as a key component of their overall business strategy. Do you agree? Why or why not?  Question B: What is the difference between a general hospital and a specialty hospital? Discuss if general hospitals provide services that are of an inferior quality to those provided in specialty hospitals. REPLY TO MY CLASSMATE’S DISCUSSION TO THE ABOVE QUESTIONS AND EXPLAIN WHY YOU AGREE.                                                       CLASSMATE’S POST Question B I agree that administrators should prioritize outpatient care as part of their overall business strategy. ‘The shift from inpatient to outpatient treatment is more pronounced in managed care organizations (MCOs),’ suggests JR (2000). By combining incredibly large purchasing power, MCOs can obtain low-cost healthcare services and implement various controls to reduce rising healthcare costs (SHI, 2015). Outpatient care reduces costs for patients while increasing hospital earnings from 30% to 48% according to Aetonix (2021). So, to provide affordable quality while increasing overall revenue for the facilities, administrators should prioritize outpatient care. Question B According to SHI (2015), general hospitals treat and operate on patients with a wide range of acute medical conditions, whereas specialty hospitals treat specific diseases or medical conditions, such as cancer and heart disease, as well as serve a specific patient population, such as children. Almost all services are provided at general hospitals, while specialty hospitals treat specific conditions. According to Cram et al. (2010), specialty hospitals had lower Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI) mortality than general hospitals, but (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting) CABG mortality was exactly equivalent. It claims that a specialized hospital can improve AMI outcomes, but not CABG ones. There is no guarantee that the services or care you receive in a specialty hospital will be superior.
