Description

After reading Dr. Gladding’s model (8 H MODEL)*, write a brief reflection (3-4 paragraphs at minimum) in which you discuss how you exemplify at least 3 of those traits of successful counselors.   Then, choose another of the traits and talk about how you might be able to work to develop your skills or abilities in that area.

Group counseling

Description

Think about a group that you’ve participated in at some point in your life. This could have been a workgroup, a class group project, a peer/friend group, a jury you’ve served on, or any other type of group that you can think of. What factors contributed to that group’s success or lack of success? If it was a positive experience, what made it positive? If the group wasn’t positive, what could have changed to make the group more successful?
