RESEARCH PAPER TEMPLATE

The Research Paper Assignment will address the following aspects, with level-1 subheadings
included for Cause, Treatment, Prevention, Sociocultural, and Biblical Worldview sections,
organized in this order:
? Title Page: Current APA-style.
? Introduction: 1 page
Introduce and describe the topic. Include prevalence information. Include a direct quote
of the DSM classification for the disorder. Information should be supported by at least
one scholarly journal source dated within 5 years and the DSM citation. Please see the
Research Paper Resources for a link to the DSM.
? Cause of the Illness: 1 page
Current research as to the cause of the illness supported by 2 scholarly journal sources
dated within 5 years and a minimum of 2 corresponding APA-style citations.
? Treatment: 1 page
Various treatment approaches for this disorder, including the benefits of the treatment,
supported by 2 scholarly journal sources dated within 5 years and a minimum of 2
corresponding APA-style citations.
? Prevention: 1 page
Research as to the prevention of the illness, supported by 2 scholarly journal sources
dated within 5 years and a minimum of 2 corresponding APA-style citations.
? Sociocultural: 1 page
Sociocultural issues pertaining to the topic, supported by 2 scholarly journal sources
dated within 5 years and a minimum of 2 corresponding APA-style citations.
? Biblical Worldview: 1 page
Discuss the topic from a Christian worldview perspective. Support the content with 1
scholarly journal source that has a Christian/biblical/theological perspective on the topic
dated within 5 years, the Bible source, and a minimum of 2 corresponding APA-style
citations.
? Conclusion: 1 page
Include a closing summary of the research, including an analysis of the research findings
