Project Deliverables:

Submit the source code of your program. You must demonstrate your program is working during the demonstration. Submit the source code, input file(s), output file(s), and visualizations/results.

For this project, the main results will be the plots of accuracy and loss function.

1. Please be sure to include thorough comments throughout your program where necessary. The comments should explain the code step-by-step during the demonstration.
2. Zip all files or submit all files at once. This should be in report format.

Select two calculation tasks that a program could perform that could be used by a small business.

Each task must include the following:

• Inputting a value
• Performing a calculation on that value
• Outputting the value

Example calculations include the following:

• Calculating sales tax on a sale
• Converting from Fahrenheit to Celsius
• Figuring a total bulk sale price based on price per unit and number of units

Obtain approval from your instructor for your items by sending a Private Message.

Create a separate 1/2-page Word document for each of the two tasks. Each document should contain:

• A brief description of the task
• The pseudocode associated with the task. Base the pseudocode on the examples provided in Ch. 3 of Prelude to Programming

Create a separate Visual Logic^® file to execute each of the two tasks

Expand your website plan.

Select at least three interactive features that could be added to your site.

Identify the following:

• What purpose would each feature serve for your site and its visitors?
• How would you construct these features?

Note: The form created in the next individual activity, “Individual: Refine and Finalize Website” can be included as one of the interactive features.

Submit your expanded Website Plan to the Assignment Files tab.

Using the course software, develop a simple JavaScript^® element for your website and develop a website maintenance plan.

Validate your HTML code using the Markup Validation Service on the W3C^® website, (www.w3.org) prior to submitting your web page(s).

Include the following in the maintenance plan:

• Based on your usability test, what steps will take to update and improve your website?
• Will you register a domain name and host your website live? If yes, with what host?
• How else will you continue to maintain your website?
