Reply to at least two classmate’s posts, applying the RISE Model for Meaningful Feedback

I will also show an example below of how the response needs to be addressed.

Here's an example of how the response should look. Please don't copy it.

The response to the classmate need to be just like this.

Example Response (Response Needs to be writen just like the response below No copying)

          RISE Feedback:

REFLECT: I concur with "Action plans should reflect the type of services that are needed and have an idea of the expected outcome of the services" because it is in line with Hatch and Hartline's intentional school counseling guidelines in regards to determining students needs.

INQUIRE: Can you further explain what "closing-the-gap action plans" are?

SUGGEST: I encourage you to revisit Hatch and Hartline's MTMDSS tier interventions in order to add a citation that would illustrate your example on bullying prevention efforts.

ELEVATE: What if you re-purposed "For example, after a needs assessment, the school is having problems with bullying" as "Following Trish Hatch's MTMDSS tier based interventions, if the school is having problems with bullying, after a needs assessment, we could… citation…"  for a more weighted argument?

What two other valuable purposes are there for closely monitoring and assessing students' overall progress so that they are adequately prepared for exiting the high school setting?

Besides ensuring students are academically ready for post-high school life, closely monitoring and assessing their progress serves two other valuable purposes:

          • Identifying and addressing individual needs: Students may be struggling, and identifying these areas enables counselors to provide targeted interventions and support services before their overall progress is impacted.
          • Social and emotional well-being: Poor grades often reveal signs of social and emotional difficulties that may hinder learning or future success. Early identification allows for timely intervention and support.

Closely monitoring students' progress goes beyond academic preparedness and is a valuable tool to identify students' needs.

          Response classmate 2- Claudia

What clear and realistic goals do you have for yourself once you obtain your counseling position?

Once I obtain my counseling position, I hope to be in either a primary or middle school setting. I used to prefer working with elementary students but now that I’ve experienced counseling students in a title 1 school, I really enjoy working with this student population. If I were to get a position at my current middle school site, I would request to be part of the student tracking team. As it stands now, each counselor is responsible for tracking students in their own student-caseload. But unfortunately, there is not a protocol for tracking. (Some counselors meet with each student who has a GPA under 1.8, some counselors wait for a teacher request for academic support). It would be my goal to take-on this role, and to make a protocol for the process in which we track students. I would feel comfortable taking on this responsibility since it is a role that I have had in the past  when I was a year-level coordinator.

Based On What You’Ve Learned In Herrick, Find A Visual Enthymeme. Attach The Enthymeme To

Based on what you've learned in Herrick, find a visual enthymeme. Attach the enthymeme to your submission. First, summarize what's going on. What premise as defined by Herrick does the enthymeme omit? What is its audience? Finally, is it effective?

It is important that you cite the textbook. Double-space your submission. Use paragraphs. Do not use "Personally," "In my opinion," or "I think/I feel." I will deduct points for excessive grammar and spelling mistakes.
