Explain how poor nursing retention influences patient outcomes.                                                                                                                   Describe how socialization influences the role of the nurse educator. How can better socialization and integration of nurses into the profession be supported? What are some behaviors nurse educators can foster to improve retention and socialization into the profession?   

2. Describe how to choose an evaluation strategy based on the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains. In Topic 12, you will create an education lesson plan to implement at your nursing education practicum site. Describe three evaluation strategies that you could implement and explain why they are a good fit for the nursing education practicum setting and audience.  

3. Consider the factors that influence population health outcomes for a specific patient population. Choose one you have encountered at your nursing education practicum site. How do these influences determine curriculum changes and what nurse educators teach?
